Hezbollah Carries Out Attacks on Israeli Targets in N. Israel, S. Lebanon
The group stated that the attacks were carried out “in defense of Lebanon and its people.”
Rocket fire was directed at Israeli soldiers stationed at the Al-Ajal Hill site north of the Kfar Yuval settlement and at the Honin gate near the border town of Markaba in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah also reported targeting Israeli vehicles and forces in Jdeidet Marjayoun and at a newly established site in Jabal al-Bat near Aitaroun using artillery shells. Additional operations included rocket strikes on the Beit al-Jundi center in the northern Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona, as well as in Zar’it and Shomera, and toward the city of Nahariya in northern Israel.
In southern Lebanon, the group claimed it successfully shot down an Israeli Hermes 450 drone over Bint Jbeil.
These developments come as US-Israeli operations against Iran continue following Feb. 28, while Israeli forces have simultaneously expanded activities in Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreement reached in late 2024, as stated by reports.
