Three people get charged over Midlands, Wales ATM raids

(MENAFN) Three people have been charged in connection with a series of cash machine raids across the Midlands and Wales, where more than £300,000 ($380,000) was stolen.

David Price, Adam Walker, and Joanne McGregor, all from Wolverhampton, were arrested on Thursday. They face charges of conspiracy to burgle, conspiracy to handle stolen goods, and possession of criminal property.

The raids, which began in February, targeted 27 cash machines across the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, the West Mercia Police area, and Denbighshire. Fourteen of the raids were successful, including an incident at Santander on Stourbridge High Street in June where a cash box was stolen.

Two other suspects have been released on bail as the investigation continues.
