CPC meeting is to discuss new regulations

(MENAFN) On June 30, the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee convened a session to review new regulations governing the Party Central Committee’s decision-making, deliberation, and coordination bodies. The meeting was chaired by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee.

The gathering highlighted that establishing these specialized institutions is a key institutional step to reinforce the CPC Central Committee’s centralized and unified leadership over major projects and ensure the successful completion of critical tasks. The newly formulated regulations aim to standardize the creation, responsibilities, and functioning of these bodies.

The rules are seen as vital for improving top-level planning, overall coordination, integrated progress, and effective execution of important initiatives.

Participants stressed that these decision-making and coordinating bodies must clearly understand their roles and duties. Their focus should be on planning, discussion, and oversight of major objectives, offering strong, overarching guidance and coordination.

At the same time, the institutions should carefully avoid assuming responsibilities beyond their mandate or interfering with the functions of others.

The meeting emphasized the need for thorough research to enhance the quality and impact of decision-making and deliberation, and for the development of practical, actionable policy solutions.

A key point was to prevent formalistic or bureaucratic practices and instead ensure tangible results are achieved.
